Welcome to Youth Abuse Prevention Training!
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to serve! Being part of a ministry team is an amazing way to show God’s love, care for others, and make a difference. This training will help you learn how to serve safely — for both you and the kids or youth you’re helping.
This online portion is just one part of your training. You’ll also have an in-person or Zoom session where we’ll go over some practical examples and talk about what safe ministry looks like in real life.
You’ll learn what safe and respectful interactions look like, what to do if you ever see or hear something that doesn’t feel right, and how to get help from your Ministry Leaders or Pastors.
Don’t worry — this isn’t meant to scare you! It’s to help you feel confident, supported, and prepared. You’re never on your own — your Ministry Team, Leaders, and Freedom Church are always here to help and answer questions.
So take your time, learn well, and remember — when we serve with kindness, care, and integrity, we reflect God’s love in everything we do.
